That componant is for NVH reasons. Its purpose is to alter the resonance frequency of the driveline. Its there to reduce noise and vibrations caused by the driveline. I also never new what its purpose was until the NVH course that Lexus sends us to had pointed it out.

You can get the rubber grommets at a Toyota dealer. Not that expensive.

I believe they are 6mm/1.25

Try manually switching the heater control valve and see if you can get hot air. Perhaps the valve is sticking up and not switching. This is usually the cause of the problem and is very common.

What year is your vehicle? Do you know if is an R12 system? If it is, I wouldnt use anything other than R12. Is your ac system already retrofitted to used R134? Don't just use any refrigerant. I would at least replace the expansion valve along with the reciever drier since you had the system...

Yup, very good vacuum readings. That is exactly what you want to see.

The first thing i would do is try to bleed air out of the cooling system. I seen this happen many times after a coolant flush was done.

Jim Wolf Technology specializes only in Nissan, Infiniti. They do not work with Toyotas. They do have a soon to be smog legal twin turbo kit for my G35 tho. :icon_razz
