That's what I was thinking about as well...I just need to make sure I'll have a place to keep a shell though...currently living with parents still because I can't afford to get out by myself. And they're splitting and may sell the house. SO, that's my concern. This 88 seems clean enough in the...
Just an expression. But if the guy responds I'm going to go look at the 88 tomorrow. Tell him I'll offer 3 because of the high miles and the (pretty high) possibility of the engine blowing. Then do a rebuild. Or save up for a 2JZ swap. If he doesn't, there's a 1990 with no engine that I may be...
It is. Nobody I know would be willing to drive that far, and a plane ticket would cost me too much. An I can't get that much time off of work. I'm the only person in my position.

It's just a matter of finding one. I'd much prefer a MKIII with a 2JZ swap over a built 7M. I'm half tempted to just start a Facebook page asking for donations to help me get a car. See how much people donate. Could be a fun project. Heh.

One reason I kind of trust the supra is its been 1 owner for the past 23 years. So he bought it pretty new and took good care of it.
I hate being broke.
I'm just tired of driving around in a 4 cylinder. Heh. Well, a low powered one. I hate a 2000 Celica GT and had to sell it. Liked it, but it lacked power. Now driving around a ford fusion because the parents needed a car to drive when needed, neither can drive a stick. Now, I'm needing a manual...
I would prefer it turbo as well. Bit it's literally one of 3 running MKIII's in the state and the only one I really trust. The fact that he actually used grammar in his listing, actually talks about the vehicle, it seems less sketchy to me. And it's the closest.

I saw a sick supra on supratraderonline I could probably get if its still available. If not, I'm gonna go for the supra. At least I hope.

I'm not gonna lie your car sounds a LOT better. It's more to what I'm looking for anyways....haha. Is it a manual?
I was looking at this one and a 2002 Celica GTS with the same miles and $200 bucks less. TRD kit. http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/436623?ad_cid=1
