Wow mine just did something very similar. 500km on rebuilt by a trans shop. Broke the thrust washer in two also.

Thats a clean way to do it, I like it. I'll change it in the future, gonna run no timing control as of now. Gotta get my girl running and broke in before the good weather is completly gone:( Thanks for the help man.

Ok that makes sense, what about #10 pin, is that also tapped and grounded to E1 before the resistor? In that image it looks like the #10 and #4 go straight to the corresponding wire.

So acording to this diagram,Timing Control, you use one of the wires for the MAP sensor???? I'm lost how where do the wire for the MAP go then? Or can you not use speed density and timing control together?

Good call, it will be changed after a short while. The gears were apparently good and reused, as were the shafts. I bought the DM rebuild kit, so new bearings, seals and synchroes. Also used MC front bearing retainer and 1st-2nd gear shift fork. Thanks for the advice guys, after a few thousand...

Mine is 3029, all my gauge are in KPH except my oil guage;) haha. Pascal can eat it.

Yah helicoils aren't my my thing. I'm going with stock studs, but the inserts outside thread is 16mm, Cat inserts. Guess I'll see if they fit.

So...Whats the biggest drill bit you can use?? With the inserts I want to use they call for a M16x1.5 external thread. Possible?

I'm sure the answer is yes but just had the tranny rebuilt and was wondering if starting with synthetic(Redline MT-90) is ok? I'm sure it's not like a engine but want to be sure... It's a little late in the game for a royal f*** up:)

I know some cam types need to be just was unsure about these. Their BC stage three cams if that helps...

Do new cams need to be broken in on these engines?
