Hey guys, i havent posted here in a while, but ive decided AGAINST ripping my e36m3 apart and turning my pretty iffy condition mk3 turbo into my future econo track whore. Its a black 88, runs but needs some love, pretty clean body. Intake and open 3" dp. And the HG is NOT blown!!!! lol...

I have smoking issues and a brownish sludge in my coolant res, yet the car runs fine and the temp gauge reads normal. Im doing a comp/leak down test this weekend. But is it even possible to have a bhg with no increase in temp? thanks all

Tonight i noticed that if i press the clutch in, with the key in the ignition, that the dash lights will light up. Is this a normal feature for these cars, or do i have a wiring issue? thanks -alan edit, so far its only happened once, or my gf is losing it...LOL

Proper tweeter imaging should leave the listener not knowing where the sound is coming from. This can also be achieved with time correction. There may not a set rule on "aiming" tweeters, but there sure are rules on how "not to" position them.

got her fixed, turns out it was the FIRST PLACE I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED. The prev owner had a deck installed and of course, they connected the illum wires incorrectly LOL. Now on to the damn dome lights...ugh

Dash lights werent working, i bypassed it by connecting the 2 white wires together. This worked for a few minutes, then the fuse i used in line blew, now its blowing 20 amp fuses. Sounds to me like i have a bad ground somewhere? Idea's where to start looking? Ive seen the TSRM but its not making...

I jumped mine today and it fried a 20amp fuse, definitely a short somewhere.. Your best bet is to grab a DMM and do some continuity testing...
