so it says 225/50/r16 for standard tires.
previous owner may have gotten those different tires in their attempt to improve handling or road feel.
I have the stock wheels for the time being. Yeah that sticker has been torn off at sometime in the past two decades it seems lol. I'll probably just stick with what I've got on the car. The oddest thing was that the wider tires, which are meant for the rear, were not as tall of tires as the skinny front ones. So I'm gonna have to get taller and wider for the rear and shorter/skinner for the front. Oh well.
depends on the size of your wheel... i have a set of 17'' work equips and i use rubber with a profile of 40 or 45 mm. There should be a sticker inside one of your door sills that will tell u what kind of rubber is recommended for standard wheels. Its not that big of a deal. a larger rear wheel diameter will make yours speedo false low, and a smaller will make it false high. but that only starts to matter if u are hugely out of size.
I own an 88 Supra and I'm wondering what the proper tire size I should get for it is. It sounds like a strange question but when I got it the rear and front were different heights and widths so I have no idea what the best size for the car is. Its a stock suspension, though its pretty shitty lol. What do you use?
