Will sawblades clear the S500 brake upgrade?

What part of the wheel hits? The inside diameter of the wheel or the back side of the face/mounting surface?

Will sawblades clear the S500 brake upgrade?

So the ID of the wheel will clear the caliper? I can add a spacer for sure.

Will sawblades clear the S500 brake upgrade?

Just wondering if the stock sawblades would clear the S500 brake upgrade. Car needs brakes before it goes on the road so was planning on upgrading... didnt have coin for new wheels right now but may have to wait a bit... Input? Thanks!

    Head stud question....

NVM... I just turned them down so they all matched and put em' in. Head is on and torqued to 90ft. lbs. (in 20lb increments). I'll let it sit overnight and retorque.

    Head stud question....

Well.. another problem. Got the head put on... studs and washers in... however half the nuts that came with my studs are a different OD. Roughly 6 have a larger OD (same thread size and socket size) but they wont fit in the head. The flange on the nut is slightly larger and it hits the...

    Head stud question....

Quick question... After letting the car sit for a year.. I decided to finally get this car going again. I went to thread in my ARP studs (bought from a member here so no instruction sheet)... When threaded in the block, hex hole on the top of the stud, there is roughly 1/4" of threads...

    Re-Ring/Bearings or....?

For some reason, the link didnt work... but I'm probably going to order a Lisle 15000. After doing some reading, guys have even used this specific hone to bore a cylinder and managed to keep it straight. Guy claimed to take .020" without any tapering (no I dont think thats a good idea...

    Re-Ring/Bearings or....?

Believe me... I WISH there was a competent machine shop in my area. The shops around here can't even get a small block chevy right... The shops around here are paying 10-12/hr so most of the guys that are there are just there for a paycheck... I'm also very picky... if a shop is going...

    Re-Ring/Bearings or....?

I haven't pulled it apart yet but will be in the next couple of weeks. At that point (if major machine work is needed), I would most likely just go the route of swapping do a different platform. I searched out a decent machine shop that had experience with the 7m in my area and there are none...

    Re-Ring/Bearings or....?

Hey guys... Been a long while since I've been on. I parked my '87 last year after blowing a hose on the highway and losing the headgasket shortly there after. We since moved and remodeled a house so the car was on the back burner until now. I finally got around to pulling the head today and...

$100 82 L type gets 7mgte swap, paint, P type conversion, suspension, ect ect

Is that an h1c with an 18cm turbine housing? If so, might want to swap the housing for the gated 12cm housing instead. Sent from a pay phone... using Tapatalk v2.0

Resurrection of a beat up Greddy Intercooler *Pics*

I'd take it to a radiator shop or machine shop and have it repaired... shouldnt be too expensive.

    Low hot idle oil pressure?

^^ Good info. I had read a member here had built an engine and didn't replace the piston coolers... overlooked them. After assembly, he was only seeing 4psi at hot idle with tight clearences... pulled it back apart and changed the piston coolers and it came up to 10psi.. this is where I...
