    Clutch not engaging

I installed the new slave and bled the system and still the same result. I got the car moved into my garage so I can now take my time with it. My next step will be to pull the inspection cover and have someone push the clutch so I can see what's going on.

    Clutch not engaging

Thanks all. I purchased a new slave off of Rock Auto and it's coming tomorrow. I will install it this weekend and see what happens. There are no leaks behind the carpet so I don't think it's the master. I did notice some fluid on the bottom of the tranny so I'm guessing it's the slave. Any...

    Clutch not engaging

Thanks, this is all useful info. I did try and bleed the system already however I was treating it like bleeding the brakes. Press on the brake pedal and then crack the bleeder nut loose. I guess you are saying to crack the slave nut loose and then press the pedal? Also, I was planning on...

    Clutch not engaging

A few days ago I was driving my 89 turbo 7mgte 5 speed (R154). In mid drive I went to shift from 2nd to 3rd and it wouldn't go into gear. I pulled over and the car would no longer go into any gears. I popped the hood and checked the master cylinder fluid level, and it was down about 2/3rds of...

SupraSport LIPP high flow elbow pics

I use to run the LIPP elbow and a random technology dp and recently switched to a bic dpp (not recirc.) and I will say I feel like the turbo is more responsive with the bic dpp.

Having a lot of trouble with my 87 build i would really appreciate any advice

If your thermostat is stuck closed the top of your radiator will still be cold while overheating. Mine use to overheat and I would pull over and the top of the rad would be cold. I'd restart the car and the needle would suddenly drop as the thermostat opened. The top of the radiator was also...

SupraSport LIPP high flow elbow pics

I have one of these sitting in my garage as well. I just removed it to run a BIC divorced downpipe. Was running it with a stainless Random Technologies downpipe. Never seen anyone else running a random technologies downpipe. I bought it about 20 years ago and it's all stainless and doesn't...

Power Steering Rack Centering How critical ?

Also, you don't need to remove the steering wheel to adjust it. You can simply disconnect the input shaft where it goes into the rack, straighten the steering wheel and reconnect the input shaft.

Who else has the plaid floor mats?

Are the red plaid ones actually MK3 floor mats? I ask because why is there a hole for a hook. MK3 didn't have them unless that was JDM only.

    Rockauto Wholesale Parts Supra

What is the 5% off code? Also, anyone know anything about the Felpro rubber oil pan gasket. I am aware you should use FIPK but I would like to replace the gasket without pulling the motor. If I use FIPK the motor would have to be pulled b/c there is no way you are putting a bead of FIPK on...

    Mix matched valve seals??

Sounds like they didn't replace the seals. My car smoked a little on start up when I had my head machined as well but I didn't tell them I needed new valve seals. I guess I assumed it was standard to replace them. When I got the car back the smoke was worse so I did the rope trick and...

What to do- turbo seals shot, smokes on deceleration

My car blew blue smoke on start up. I did the rope trick and replaced the valve seals. 100% fixed the problem and now have zero smoke on start up. My car currently blows smoke when coming to a stop......I can see a trail of smoke go by. I am pretty certain it is my turbo seals which sounds...

White Package 92 Turbo with 53k Miles Popped up in CO.

Yea I wonder if it sold. He was getting a lot of questions about it. Only thing is he didn't have any pics of the engine or interior but I suspect it was in decent shape. You would just have to find a shadow gray dash. Also, i didnt like the fact it wasnt a manual from the factory. If I...

    Struts

Since you don't have TEMS I would def. go with coilovers as they will perform better than any spring/strut combo. Check driftmotion.com as I think they have a decently priced set of Tein coilovers.
