put on the oil pump, front cover, water pump, and AN-8 line for the oil crossover
Also if you look in the background of the pic you can see some more bodywork has started, but just to fill a few door dings so far.

Waiting for my gaskets and new braided AN-8 oil crossover hose, need to decide on which MHG I want to buy (damn they are expensive$$$)
My parts should be here tomorrow, then need to finish building the shortblock with oil pump and other good ish like that...

My hold up now is painting the engine bay, and waiting to get the trans back from the guy rebuilding it with all the wonderful Marlin Crawler stuff

Ok, Tried the Carbon Shyncros... No go, the cones are slightly different.... you can get it to work if you swap some parts back and forth between the two transmissions... but I don't want to risk something being slightly off and grenading my rebuilt trans.
Basically, the Carbon AR5 synchros...

Took it to a race machine shop...
they checked it and told me it was just a .003" step, and that i could get away with just a hone job. They said it was probably just caused by "excessive high rpm operation"
but I decided to take it a lil further to be safe... and for...
Just finished rebuilding the transmission.... and the engine is in the machine shop...

-Bore .020" over
-Wiseco coated forged pistons :love:
-ARP hardware everywhere
-Rods resized
-Polishing crankshaft journals
-Oil pump driveshaft bushings after hot tanking...

They are right in the Milford/New Hudson area, so thats not too far I guess
