It's been quite a process trying to make all of the interior black. Still not quite finished, but here is my progress.
I used black cloth to recover the...
I am having some big troubles with the guys I purchased my rear axle parts from ( justdifferentials.com ), they keep giving me the run-around.
The pinion I got from them doesnt fit right, and they refuse to make it right...
Hoping i'll make something happen.
I am leary about throwing that...
So I recieved my cap and installed it yesterday, it was quite a process preparing for install, but I didn't take any pictures, and it's boring anyways.
I had to get a lil creative to hold the cap on while the glue was setting up In comes broom, cardboard tube, and vacuum cleaner extension...

I would just like to say that mine works flawlessly, and does not generate any excessive heat. It is only energized while moving, which is minimal.
But I am using 7M stuff, not 1J
More new parts!
I recieved my 3.55 R&P, and master rebuild kit... ya know, bearings and such
Started to put it all together last night, I will be doing this myself of course.
How can you learn and educate yourself if you just pay someone to do it for you?
Pressing on the new bearing...
Havent put the parts back in yet, waiting to make the roll cage decision still, and I have the whole dash out of the car, it's all cracked, so I need to repair it before I put the rest of the dash pieces back in

Nash-man: This car does not have a Toyota differential. I Installed a 8.75" unit out of a 1968 Big block Dodge Dart.
I don't want to be in 5th gear at the drag strip, I want to stay in 4th, and make 1st gear a little more useful.

I am willing to help some of you guys. BUT, I will not help with everything, it is your responsibility to answer ceartin questions about your own setup. For example, if you want to run another ignition system, or COP, or other things. I may be able to figure out...
Launch control works by backing off spark timing a lot to change when the combustion even takes place, and it can also interrupt spark completely so it "misses" to get some of that fuel combustion going on in the exhaust manifold to spool up the turbo. You can really set it to do many different...

I highly reccomend Megasquirt.
I started from scratch and from starting building the kit to running 11's at the track within 2.5 months or so working on it on and off.
I can tell you how to wire the IACV and how to get it to work properly. Very easy once I figured it out! (I did the hard work...
