After taking out my A/C lines and some other minutia, I convinced myself that I will be able to fit my turbo in after all.
I have two GT3788VA off of a Duramax. These are the Garrett GT series GT37 frame, but with a GT40 wheel and variable geometry on the exhaust side. One of them will flow...
Lol, yeah. The GT37 off the Duramax actually has a compressor wheel from a GT40. It's huge.
Yep, that's exactly it. I set it in to see how close it was and it wasn't :) It doesn't sit between the strut tower and head, it sits ON the strut tower and head! Still hoping to get a stock hood...
Good ideas guys. I'm now thinking in front of the radiador. I'll have to play with it some more.
BTW, those GT37s are huge. Like 12" in diameter.

Do you know if there are remote reservoirs readily...
I was driving somewhat sanely to see what MPG I could get. Cruise @ about 3000 RPM.

I'm now taking ideas on where to put one of these. I doesn't fit in the traditional spot.
250 HP. I feel pretty good about that since the stock trailblazers put down about 200-220 HP with an automatic transmission.
The red curve is with a stock trailblazer calibration with just enough codes turned off to let it run. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me that the dyno would run the...
I've sorta done it.
All it takes is the front bearing retainer and slave from a pontiac solstice. It bolts on! You then need to adapt your clutch line and find a pressure plate as IJ mentioned. The simplicity is nice, but make sure you have it spaced properly or you'll be pulling your...
Good point, though I think not always possible.
If you have the intestinal fortidute, OEMs generally use at least one more relay than devices they're driving. Stare at a schematic for -say- a maxima for long enough and you'll realize that any single point failure will have a neglible...
I'm currently running this fan in my Supra. The stock wiring for just about any circuit is not going to cut it. The wiring to the condensor fans is on the order of 18AWG.
Here's how I have mine wired up:
10 AWG wire off of 60 Amp fusible link to high speed power.
10 AWG wire from fan...
