    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

Ok, lower IC pipe is all welded. Time to check for leaks: That's a PVC pipe cap, drilled and tapped for an air hose fitting. Another pipe cap on the other end and I can pressure my IC pipes with my air compressor. Putting 25 psi on it: Weld, grind, pressurize. Lather rinse...

    AR5 Trans speed sensor solution?

Nope, you're going the wrong way. Supras need a mechanical speedo. I'm pretty sure I've seen a device that would convert a VSS signal into a motor drive for a speedo cable. I'm also pretty sure it was hundreds of dollars. Your car is newer and probably has an electric speedo already. Might...

Chambers Build Thread - "Daily Eighty-Seven"

2nd'd. Kudos on building it yourself, but it'd be a shame if it doesn't work the way you wanted when it's all said in done. The T in the turbo up-pipe should really be replaced with a merge. As-is, the engine would probably tap out at 4k. A 2 pipe merge won't be TOO difficult to build...

AR5 Trans Take Two: The Solstice Solution

See post 10. The camaro V6 clutches are very close. I picked the s10 clutch because I knew it would fit, but these might work also.

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

I got my engine from a yard, already pulled. The front diff bolts to the pan and the passenger axle passes through it. There's a tube in the oil pan, so the drivetrain is completely separate from the engine. It just looks like it's integrated. The TB engine is so tall I had to space my...

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

^ Thanks Rico! Got my IC in. It's an ebay special. Dual pass. Core dimensions are roughly 20 x 8 x 3. I used its box to make a sleeve for it. I know that it's gonna take a few test fits to fab up the mounts and I don't want to damage any fins. On top, there's quality control...

SBC/LS1 with R154, anyone done it?

Yes, but it's 25% of -about- a million a year, so there's a ton of them out there. Also every trailblazer, 9-7x, envoy, bravada, etc is aluminum block.

SBC/LS1 with R154, anyone done it?

^^ Good stuff. I had considered a LS swap prior to doing my 4200. If was going to use a V8, I'd find an aluminum block 5.3. They're plentiful and cheap.

    eraezer - Supra MK3 -89 -Swedish Build

Any updates on the seats? I like your idea of two-tone with red stitching. Gray is just plain boring. Have you considered changing the color of the interior? I think a burnt orange or cat-shit brown would be awesome.

SBC/LS1 with R154, anyone done it?

I use HPtuners for ecu tuning and like it a lot. If anybody wants, I will reflash to turn off codes/VATS for basically the license fee.

SBC/LS1 with R154, anyone done it?

Think volume, not pressure. The GM slave requires 3/4" diameter x 1" stroke. I was not able to find a stock Toyota piece that moves this much volume.
