    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

The lexus will definitely be easier, but no where near as cool :) Supra is undergoing a slow-motion oil pan change.

A few questions on Bilstein Shocks for those who have emmm :D

That's how I had it setup too. For me, it was the fronts that were bouncy, not the rears. WAAAYYYY back on the other forum someone said that 89+ shock mounts were different from 87-88. Supposedly you needed the 89+ mounts for the Bilsteins. I was happy using the stock springs on the medium...

A few questions on Bilstein Shocks for those who have emmm :D

I have Bilsteins and have ran them with stock springs and Eibachs. I find the ride to be nice and controlled, and not harsh at all. However, with the Eibachs the ride was very bouncy. I think there wasn't enough preload. Back to stock springs and no complaints.

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

Yep, Autoroc stopped by for some tuning so we got the two beasts together for an impromptu photo shoot. Side note, he just ran a 12.3 with the 4.2 turbo Camaro.

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

Not really. Just got a new aluminum oil pan fabbed. My steel piece is leaking real bad. PM me on that one ;) Interesting that you mentioned this, I was just looking into it. I wasn't able to find any good info. Seems like I should be able to bolt a gt3788va compressor to a gt3782va turbo...

AR5 Trans Take Two: The Solstice Solution

No modification of the solstice input was required for me. Go figure. I recommend using the solstice slave cylinder as it bolts up, no modification required. To me, the biggest hassle/expense was the custom driveshaft. I have some posts in this thread a couple years back. I've since...

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

Hopefully, not I can actually work on it now that the move is done. Actually, I do have a small update. Went back in my logs and back calculated pressure from airflow and engine speed. Looks like it was making about 4 psi even with no boost control. So I can officially say that I'm on...

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

I moved recently and am renting out my old place. That means that Oct 1 is D-Day. Everything must go. Sep 29, everything is moved except one thing: My 1987 Toyota Supra with a Trailblazer I6 engine, a Pontiac Solstice 5 speed manual, and a VVT turbo out of a Duramax. That also means that...
