They are the ones that make the DR-25 heatshrink tubing that is used in the race circuits. They also make Spec 55m cabling which is what most F1 teams use for wiring.

after seeing all these car fires. I am biting this right in the butt and just doing it right (more setbacks!! :mad:).
The car is about to become completely naked as I am going to REWIRE the entire car! Yes I am that crazy :p Tefzel or Spec55m wiring.
They won't do that.
Remember the targa top is part of the structure of the car. IE when you rememove it, the car flexes. To make the CF be able to do that requires that it be layered on THICK. In other words any weight savings go right out the door on structural integrity parts.
My bill came out roughly around $700

Complete tear down of head.
Torque head down and stick in oven to help straighten as much as possible.

valve inspection and replacement as needed

you are right on the flow. There are two contributing factors.
1. As you stated, heat cooling down does indeed effect the speed of the exhaust. (Poodle, even on a turbo charged vehicle :) )
2. Fluid dyanmics plays a big role here to. As a gas goes from a certain smaller area to a...
