Wheel hop occurs when taking off the line (correct? i've never experienced it anywhere else), this sounds like you were already in motion. Are you saying it was like surging, lunging?

Well i've mentioned this a couple times and i will post a link to the thread i'm gonna create with pics, but you can make a good Pep Boyz cai for about $40. Just like BlackMKIII has, but mine is a turbo and i built one. It doesn't sit right in the fog hole(thats too low), so you dont get a gulp...
