There's actually 3 coolant hoses running from the block coolant hard line to the TB to the ISC valve to a fitting on the lower intake manifold. Here's the TRSM diagram:

The wires at the CPS connector are shorting out...had the same problem on my old motor. The insulation was old/cracked, exposing the wire. I did a splice/re-wire for each wire and it fixed it.
And yes, it can (and did) die at stop lights. :3d_frown:

The NA and turbo blocks are almost the same...the NA has higher compression piston...the turbo has oil sqirters for the pistons to help keep it cool. The heads are the same, except for the cams...all the cams will do is shift your power band higher.
