When you torqued the ARP studs to120 ft/lbs, did you use moly or motor for lube? You really don't want to over torque man...especially on an aluminum head like a Supra's.

The Cometic MHG requires a RA spec of 50 or less. If you use one on a block/head that has not been decked to this spec, you are very likely not to get a good seal. That means a re-do when the MHG blows.

Have you checked your ECU codes?
There are several things that could cause your problem. Instead of throwing parts at it, check your ECU codes and get a multi-meter to find the bad part. Could be a boost leak, your TPS just needs adjustment, the ISC, etc.

That's correct...autos have a provision for the throttle position cable going to the tranny. There is also differences in the JDM vs USDM versions due to the right hand drive in Japan. I've seen at least 4 versions of the linkage on the throttle body itself.
