    Taillight sensor light

Did you use LED bulbs? And do the lights actually work?

    CLEAR REAR INDICATOR CONVERSION.......

If you use LED's in the turn signals, they will "hyper" flash...the stock turn signal relay uses bulb resistance to get the correct flash interval. The best solution IMO is to get an after market relay made for using LED bulbs. As an alternative, you can add a resistor to the signal wiring...

    O Rly?

Oh man...I remember that soooo well. I went through the centrifuge at Holloman AFB...the last profile in that thing took me up to 9.0 G (the best these guys did was 5.5-6.0). You should see my tape...pretty damn funny too. The capillarity's in my butt and upper back of my legs popped, making...

Cool video for you military types

You're dead on man! Didn't mean to slight any of those guys. You can be the "ace of the base", but unless you got bombs to drop, a well maintained machine, and the gas to get there...you ain't crap! And you're right about the intel folks...personnel folks too...not all of them fit that...

Cool video for you military types

Not all of us AF types are couch potatoes ;) It's just the AF mission usually involves air conditioned under ground rooms with lots of expensive electronics and monitors...flying satellites and Predators...you can run, but you can't hide in a combat zone.

Cool video for you military types

That was good ;) Here's the AF perspective though...LOL

    O Rly?

Yeah...that's a good video...pretty accurate too. The other "side effect" for a noob like that is passing out from the G's...they give you a quick training course on it, but it happens just about every time. Flying naked remined me...a F-16 crashed in west TX because the pilot unstrapped the...

    O Rly?

Wish I could man! It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on :naughty: But I'll tell ya...everyone I've seen get a ride that's never done hi-performance jets has gotten...ummm lets say...a little nauseous. Actually that's a lie...they usually fill up a couple of bags :puke:

    O Rly?

LOL...kill all ya can Yellow. Donno if it IRS will go for the write off though :dunno: BTW...a F-16 is up to about $40 M a copy now ;)

    O Rly?

Friend of mine hit a duck doing over 500 Kts on a low level in a F-16. Came through the canopy and hit him in the right shoulder...busted several bones, making his right arm useless. Since you fly the airplane with a side stick (it's on the right side), he couldn't control it. Had to "punch...

Dear Chairman Warner and Senator Levin:

Some heavy hitters in that bunch ;) I met McPeak many years ago when he was Chief of Staff...hosted him at McDill AFB. I agree...we must follow the rules, regardless of who/what our enemies are.

    $425 For Rebuilt Head

If you use a new MHG, spray sealer will turn the factory coating into goo. If you go this route (don't have the block decked), you will need to remove the factory coating before using Brake Quiet. Also keep in mind the RA spec (smoothness) has to be met for the MHG used....50 RA for a...

    Need some advice

Chasing the holes is a good idea when using head bolts...it gets any crap out that may cause an in accurate torque reading. For studs, its less of a factor since you are using nuts to provide the clamping force. But oil...:umno: Head bolts have to be lubed...ARP specifies oil or moly...

    What do you guys think

That is a very good "old school" technique and it works quite well ;) Just make sure you use a flat end punch and like suprat said...LIGHT Taps with the hammer.

    Need some advice

Yes he can...keep boost under 12-14psi and he will be fine. Consider re-torquing the head bolts to 75 ft/lbs prior to turning up the boost. You should replace the air filter 1st with one that flows better. 2nd is the downpipe and 3" CAT back...use a single piece DP (or DDP that flows back...

    What do you guys think

Correct...studs 1st, drop the head on, then the nuts. You will need a 14mm, 12 point deep socket for the nuts. Depending on the head casting, a 1/2" drive may be too big to clear the hole in the head...just use a 3/8" drive w/ 1/2" adapter to fit the torque wrench. The 3/8" drive socket has...
