LOL...heck Suze you can sell anything with "Supra" on it ;)
Don't know about the 1G, but you can modify the 7M-GE tach circuit board to work. If the 1G uses the same ignition coil and ignitor as the 7M, it should work with it as well.

Take a look at the wiring diagram ;)
The GTE gets the tach signal from the ignitor...the GE gets it from the ignition coil and ignitor. The CPS and/or the distributor has no input to the tach.

The NA tach will not...
Arnout put his in by tapping into the small plate on the block behind the oil filter (6th pic from the bottom):

The Raptor owns the sky ;)
Every other fighter that has gone against it has lost. A very good friend of mine is working the tactics test and evaluation at Nellis AFB for the F-22...he tells me the leap in technology is the same, if not more, as when the jet replaced the piston motors in...
arz put a 7M turbo motor in a 240Z...take a look at his brake kit thread in the Misc Vendors section for a couple of pics. I've seen the car in person...it's eye watering :evil2:
LOL...that's ok. Confused was actually not a put down...pilots are notorious for ignoring some of the personnel/paperwork aspects of the military. Especially a fairly new Captain ;)
The AF does not do rotary training...the few that we have is done by the Army at Ft Rucker. Fixed wing is...
No, but I worked with "Dark Star" many, many times ;)
Take a look at my Avatar...we referred to the AWACS as "Death Star". That was a compliment...any enemy aircraft detected by an AWACS had a very short lifespan. :bigun2:
Well, if the officer has been in for 4 years, pilot training takes a year, and the pilot training commitment is 10 years...that takes the officer to the 15 year career point.
If this is a Marine Squadron, then the commitments can be different. I was talking about it from the AF perspective...
Iridiums can glowplug on ya after hard runs...the electrode is very fine compared to the coppers.
Using Autolite 3923's here gapped at 0.28"...works better than the iridiums for me.
Nope...don't ignore it...it's simply part of the deal. The military (especially the Army and Marines right now) is at risk of ending up that way. You don't ignore it, but you can't dwell on it either. Serving your country can put you at personal risk.
In addition to the retirement Mark talks about, you will also be eligible for military medical benefits (Tricare)...it's not a bad medical and costs about $400 a year for you and a spouse. Compare that to company plans now-and-days that cost you $200 a month and the difference is huge ;)...
Officers have "commitments"...they do not re-enlist. For example, if an officer changes duty station he/she will incur a 2 year commitment. Commitments can run simultaneously...lets say you have 3 years left on your initial commissioning commitment and you change duty station. You incur 2...
It's designed to be used with a Greddy Rebic controller:

Actually works well on a high HP motor ;)
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to isnms again.
Whoa! Very good info!
Keep in mind though, A/F ratios have the largest effect on EGT ;)
You mean this thread:

The one where SupraCentral removed your obscenities & insults in post #25...the one where SupraCentral rolled it back for the same reasons in Post #42 in an effort to keep it civil.
You were not banned for...
That sounds about like mine...I get a little more hardness on the 1st - 2nd shift when it's cold. Where do you have the throttle cable set for line pressure? Is the little index marker near the tip of the rubber like in the TRSM?
