The problem is getting the oil to the 100...
You guys that like 15W-50...here's what you need to do:
- Put a bottle in your frig and get it cooled off to 40-45 deg
- Pour some out in a small pan
- Note how well it flows (or lack thereof)
- That's what your oil pump is trying to get to your pistions and valves.
Basically you're...
Johnathan is right, you lost coolant through the hose and it will need to work the air out. Keep an eye on your coolant bottle.
You want to replace that hose...you got lucky. I blew mine...split along the entire length and I lost all of my coolant in a very short time. Car overheated...
Good info...didn't know that ;)
From what I've read on pindel vs disc, it's basically a different method of metering the fuel...from what we can tell, not a lot of difference in the way the motor runs.
Aluminum angle iron bonded to the lower part...the mesh attaches to it to help support it from the top. I'm actually going to get one of the Shine bumpers vs this with a seperate lip.
They will...However...
You go lean under boost...old fuel pump, stock FPR, 440 injectors...ECU may not have time to react and BANG. This is where the wideband O2 becomes very useful ;)
They're Lucas injectors...basically the same as RC. I have not used them, but everyone I know that's got a set has liked them. They're cheaper than RC too ;)
without getting technical, ARP studs provide better clamping force for the head to block for a given torque. Bolts will also work fine. Removing the head later is really no problem with the studs...you do have to get the head higher to get it off. Just take the hood off the car. Speaking of...
The igniter sends a signal to the tach...if it's not firing, it's quite possible to tach would also not get a signal. This kinda makes the igniter suspect as well huh ;)
