Alan - And you're running a VPC and AFC...of course you'll be able to compensate. You're assuming everyone runs a fuel computer. With an AEM, you've replaced the entire ECU ;) Apples and oranges.
If you run 43 psi with 550 injectors, the ECU will add too much fuel, it will run like crap...
Why don't you run your fuel pressure up to, say 45-50 psi and watch what happens to your gas milage. And your AFR's ;) It's gonna make you run rich (of course) and your gas milage is gonna go down.
Ok...read carefully:
- The 1st set of FP is with the service wire connected...the system is at 12 volts, engine off...33-40 psi is the spec.
- The 2nd set of FP is with service wire removed (system at 9 volts, idle), vacuum line off...33-40 psi is the spec...40 psi is at the top of spec...
Yeah...you'll have to re-adjust. Just keep in mind, air flow and fuel are a balance. Don't just buy bigger injectors without a way to increase air flow....Lex AFM for example.
TRSM outlines it pretty well...allow plenty of time. Take the hood off and be careful pulling the head (you'll need a helper)...it's heavy and you don't want to hurt your back. Clean all the old HG off really well.
- Stock Toyota HG...guys get good results w/ copper spray on these
- ARP bolts torqued to 75 ft/lbs w/ moly per TRSM pattern
- Cam seals, exhaust manifold gasket, intake manifold gasket, valve cover gaskets, CPS O-ring, little 90 deg coolant hose on back of head, new thermostat & gasket

A boost leak is not going to help!
The ground on the coil is is kinda like a drain or shielding...the operation of the coils can result in weak induction to the coil plate and induce noise in the primary circuit. The coils do not depend on the ground wire for operation, but does provide a...
I think it's your radiator too ;)
Just checkin man...I'm not one of those guys that jumps on the BHG wagon right off.
A pressure test might be a good idea anyway...it will reveal any other little leaks in the system that might be letting air in.
