Depending on how you look at it, it could be a PITA.
I have the stock sc300 fan shroud so just removing the serpentine belt was slightly difficult. I used a BOX end wrench on the tensioner, then got a socket on the end of a breaker bar to push the tensioner down...no big deal!

I can't find a definitive answer. I know the 1JZ and 2JZ tensioners are different part numbers, because Curt at Elmhurst told me.
Driftmotion is selling a 1JZ/2JZ like they are the same.
I've read that the 1JZ has a 5mm difference in starting angle compared to the 2JZ accessory tensioner...
So, you need a Soarer harness?
You'll have to check the forums, and ebay. I've seen a few harnesses by themselves.
Call Driftmotion for the igniter...guess you got a 7M igniter, and that's why it doesn't plug in huh?
I didnt read every post in detail, but make sure you check the wiring leading from the coil connectors.
You can also pull each coil connector one at a time. If one of them doesn't make an obvisou diff in the way the engine is running, you may have a bad coil or wiring to it.

Several thing's-
You installed a used motor and tranny. Did anyone check compression on this motor???
They turned up the boost and either blew your motor, or your motor was bad from the get go.
On top of that your tranny very well could've been on the way out, and the extra power pushed it over...

I fixed the tach!
I cut the tach signal wire at the igniter and ran that to the cluster directly, checked continuity, started the car,nothing ...no tach.
I then swapped another GTE igniter, and bam, I got a tach.
We took my igniter apart and...
Definitely looking at the correct wire. It is off the small connector at the igniter. We checked continuity from the igniter to the gauge cluster, and the wiring is good.
IGF is a pin on the ECU, and I believe it may be the mentioned blue with red stripe wire.
Maybe I'll splice into that...
I don't know how to use one, and I'm having a hard time finding any shop that will look at it for me.
I wish I could find another wire that is sending a tach signal, I'd just splice it as well.

I used the China radiator off Ebay with my 1JZ/SC300
I believe the China radiator is made for the MK3 Supra chassis, but works in the SC300 chassis.
Anyways, I had to do extensive surgery to the stock SC300 fan shroud to make it work.
