well i made a vac tester out of pvc, i then installed it into the intake after the maf and applyed 12psi to the system and found alot of leaks two on the IC piping, one at the 3000-TB, and one by the brake master all got fixed. still no change in idle may have more leaks. One very small air leak...
forgot some info. if i try to push the gas pedal slowly it bogs and misses between 1000-2000RPM if i and more gas it will rev no problem past 2000K but if i rev it up like WOT from idle it revs up little hesitation and sputter at first but revs up no problem.
well right now it fires right up and idles good for about 1-2 min till it warms up and the idle should drop like normal well when it drop's thats when it starts bogging and wanting to die IAC catches it some times. NO CODES at all. TPS is good, timing is 10-12 DTC,
im thingking:
1. VAC leak...
No I took care of the code 51 sry I didn't update this.
Now I don't have any code poping up but still Scrapy idle and if I slowly raise the throttle it starts missing around 1000-2000 rpm but has no problem reving up past 2k no codes. It starts up fine
ok so ive been having a code 22 and 31 for a wile now but fixed the problem. replaced the AFM and wiring harness codes gone and still idling like crap now the only code im getting is a 51. theres NO A/C system on the car at all. so retested TPS and it looks grate it reves up fine, pass 3000K but...
I have had the same problem for a long time and just like you tested every thing possible and more including 3 AFM 1 was original 2nd bought on SM forum and 3rd was off a newly pulled 7m/1jz swap only thing havent tryed yet is another AFM. I feel your pain.
So a AFM code refers to no signal...first I did continuity test from AFM plug to ECU plug all good so i fugured the AFM was bad. So I borrowed a AFM from my friends car no change.
Just replaced all the rubber bushings at the heads of the injectors where they go into the head since I found air...
Ok so after checking all the Turbo pipeing and every vac line and finding nothing I carfuly sprayed some Carb cleaner around fifteenth areas of the intake and think I found my problem air getig pass two of my injectors! When I spray them at the base on head the idle changes and kinda stumbles...
Now when I remove the efi fuse and all the codes then start it up it still idles crappy if I slow play with the throttle I can get it to slowly rev to 2000 but sputtering then the rpms will jump to 3k-3500 and bogg.
I'm thinking vac/intake leak but haven't found it yet all VAC lines have been...
did a continuity test from AFM plug to ECU and its good. Also not geting the code 31 or 32 any more only and was able to rev it up once very rich. So i was thinking maby TPS, but as i was trying to set the TPS the turbo is starting to spool and idle is little surgy...now im lost... or is it a...
one is Red Blue strip still havent found what it goes to. After looking at the wireing diagram in the book the only wire i saw that was red blue stripe was the vsv for the FPR, but the plug on it is red blk and pink kinda lost.
redid a continuity test from AFM plug to ECU and its good. Also...
dam just found two broken wires one red blK stripe and the other is red blue strip there right next to each other in the big wiring harness just bellow the TPS area. Problem is i dont know what they go to...
