that black and blue wire is the wire that goes to the starter. just extend as any other.
you can extend the single wire that comes out the other side on the grouped wires you are talking about.
and many others have extended past the shielding, meaning they cut the wire after the...
you're right. i was getting a code 52 a few weeks after my swap. Car was dragging total ass, it felt like the exhaust was welded shut.
After rewiring it was a totally different car.
Get the boost logic pulley. Expensive as balls, but worth it. My biggest fear is my crank pulley separating at high rpms and putting a hole through my Koyo..
I installed/removed my injectors while I was doing my cams, so the valve covers were off. That made things a lot easier. But to remove the injectors themselves just unbolt the support plates, grab a towel to grip the injectors, and use el nino force to pull those bastards out.
I have no experience with it, but I have been thinking of getting one for quite some time. You can find a new JZA70 Power FC on ebay all the time for $1350 with commander.
I think it would totally alleviate your fears of a bad ECU. Just plug it in and go. From my understanding, it already has...
Hey guys, would turning up the boost (14-16psi) on the stock fuel system with a 2 bar MAP sensor make the engine run leaner than what's safe?
Going to turn up the boost in a few days, just making sure. I'm sure plenty of you guys have ran it this way, any input would be appreciated.
good luck with getting it to idle cleanly, if at all. do you have anything to take out fuel like an safc?
i put mk4 550s on mine and it idled like shit and fouled all the plugs within minutes.
Well, the stock 1JZ cap doesn't fit the Koyo radiator, but the 7M cap fits perfect. Thing is, the 7M cap is a 13lb vs the 1J's 16.
Would it be ok to run the 7M cap, or will I run into any cooling issues?
thanks guys, I'm not asking where I can get R12 refrigerant, but where I can get the oil designed for use in an R12 system.
I went to autozone and they had the PAG oil in the viscosity I needed, but it was designated for an R134A system.
I need the oil that you pour straight into the...
Hey guys, I'm trying to put A/C in my car, but my compressor doesn't have any oil in it at all. Anyone know where I can get some oil to pour in my compressor? I'm keeping the R12 setup.
Also, how much do I pour in there? 8 oz? Any info would be great, thanks.
where is everyone getting their refrigerant oil at? i'm keeping it R12 and my compressor has no oil in it, anyone know where I can get some oil???? I tried the parts stores but all the oil they sell is for 134a.
ok, i just did some grinding to my PS pump. very, very easy. Using the 7M top plate and AC lines is the absolute best way to do it IMO.
Now, I'm going to get some new o-rings, does anyone know what to lubricate them with before installing them? I'm not too familiar with AC.
