We got the car all warmed up then gunned it up a long steep road. Made sure to keep the revs changing, always.
Once we got to the top of the steep road we downshifted the crap out of the car all the way down.
At the bottom BAM seated.
I am running 9:1 on my Wiseco's. No slap on cold startup, no problems boosting (you'll have to run higher than the stock turbo can allow to have to worry), and a 1.8mm HG.
If these pistons are close to the Wiseco spec for skirt length and dish volume then they should be niceeeeee.

It seems impossible but there is ONE position it fits in properly. Well two actually since it can be 180 out and it isn't a huge deal. Wasted spark ftw.
You should have left the wiring harness connected, would have been much easier to just pull it through the firewall and bring it out with the motor.
As long as you got those fuel lines though thats about the extent of things.
And as mentioned aboved don't forget the speedo cable.
It's gonna be good. My car got running yesterday, although I won't be bringing it. Don't really want to have to do 3 oil changes in Vancouver. :icon_razz
Stock pistons will/should hold that kind of power as long as they are in good shape.
ARP hardware is a general must (you can get away without arp main studs and rod bolts, only really if rods are new though).
Keep rods stock as long as they are in GOOD shape. I got brand new ones for...
