Well, I got the shift knob done. PS- forgot to add to the to-do list: Replace clutch(again). I bought a stage 3 clutch a while back, and need to install it at some point. The existing clutch doesn't slip yet, but it's close.

True, you would get a lean condition at idle and light cruise, but it would go pig rich at wide open throttle, since the leak point would be causing pressurized air to escape. What diagnostic codes are stored?

You need to use a multimeter to verify that the signal wire to each knock sensor shows no continuity to ground. If it does, this indicates that a strand or two of the shielding wire is in contact with the signal wire, and you will always get a code 52. PS- Exactly what type of wire did you use...

Toyota today, does not understand the Toyotas of yesterday. What's probably happened, is that the rf shielding on the knock sensor wiring has probably gone bad. The knock sensor rewire is one of the most common repairs we have to do to our cars, but once its fixed right, it's good forever...

You have 550cc injectors, but no way to control the fuel?? You need something to balance them back out, like a Lexus afm housing, or a piggyback fuel controller. Changing the base fuel pressure alone wouldn't provide the precision you'll need for this.

Better that the gauge is screwed, instead of your engine. :)

I've had that happen to my head. If you use traditional green antifreeze, or straight water, or get combustion gases into the coolant jacket- any of those can cause pitting.

Good job. I have the same filter myself, but it's up at the cooler.

I used a Celica charcoal canister. It's about 1-2" less in diameter, and mounts to the same bottom plate as stock.
