    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Over the next couple weeks, I will be replacing all of the dead links that I can, and adding a few new pics. Yesterday, I installed the copper crush gasket for the turbo's Vband clamp, and that solved the leak. So, I was finally able to reinstall the compressor cover, turbo blanket and all of...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

I was! just today! She's tuned well enough now on the DET3, that I will finish the last two wire connections, and close up the dash, and begin stripping the moldings and trim, for paint work. Not looking forward to it, yet looking forward to it as well.

Climate control modules between model years

Its literally one screw, and one electrical plug, and no panels have to be removed. It may be the easiest fix you'll ever do to a Supra.

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Oh, and one other upgrade, and this one is also nearly invisible; a new intercooler. I had heard that the stock one was good, but not great. I don't know if the one I bought is any better, but it is bigger. Took me a bit of messing around, swapping couplers, and twisting things, but I got...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Well, First of all: FUCK PHOTOBUCKET. They are holding everyone's pics for ransom, by saying you have to upgrade to a $400 membership to get the linking ability back. So, I have gone through, and painstakingly replaced all of my links(or at least as many as I could find) with those of a...

    92 supra 7m-gte

Um. Is the water in cylinder 5 from the head gasket, or an external hose leak? Also, I don't understand your last question??

On a 7mgte, when do you need to increase the diameter of crankcase vent lines?

The primary vacuum supply for the pcv system is to the intake manifold(at the throttle body), not the intake pipe. This is especially true on decel, where the greatest vacuum pressure is present there. If you don't have the valve covers tee'd into the TB, you risk excessive crank case pressures...

Looks like a car that's been sitting a while. How deep into a restoration are you planning to go? As in- do you plan to remove and recondition suspension subframes, etc?

    Dash/Door Panel Wrap Thread

Yep, the ebay leather ones are still for sale, around $190 shipped. I would imagine that he could make custom covers out of alcantara. Im sure you have to specify LHD, as this guy is over in England.

    Dash/Door Panel Wrap Thread

Good stuff. That was 9 years ago though. Not sure if she's still in business. There was some seller on ebay who does leather dash wraps for our cars. Don't know if he still sells on there. According to google, the place still exists, but looks like its in the middle of nowhere, on a farm...

    Rear Subframe Crack Rebuild (finished)

You could find a good welder to fix and reinforce that, since it's not a rusty piece of junk.
