    Hatch bump stop installation

They're probably just coated with a thin layer of black oxide. The same rust issue happened with my rear hatch strut bolts.

    Dooor handle light

On USDM models, it's just on the left door(driver's door). I expect that RHD cars have the light on the right side door.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Today, I just did a quick swap of the rear wheel studs, for slightly longer ones. This was because I wanted to use a set of 10mm wheel spacers. the rears seemed to look slightly sunken in, compared to how aggressive the fronts are, even though it's a square setup.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Thanks. The body will get some matching accent stripes, to tie in the color.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Both doors are now stripped: Next is the targa seals, and the targa itself.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Progress... Man, It's easy to get delayed, distracted, demoralized, or just plain lazy, when it comes to a project. I think my problem has always been, that I bite off more than I can chew, in terms of scope. I have a hundred different ideas for a hundred different parts of the car, and when...

    Front Lip Alternative

I saw someone put one on their car. It looked pretty good, but it was more than just a 2" lip, as I recall.

Where to buy power steering rack bushing?

I had a bitch of a time with rack bushings as well. Ive used both Ronnie K's, and Ricochet. I returned the Superpro, because they were too hard to install, but that's just me.

Brake light/ Tail light not working FIX, EVERY SUPRA NEEDS THIS

Yup. I've done the box repair, it was just a jumper wire that needed to be added, to bypass a bad wire. I'm not big on bypassing the failure box altogether.

    Biggest tires possible without modding?

UM, YEAH... Your question was " Is the wheel guide on this website?" What explanation did you want to that question? You didn't ask "What is offset?" Had you asked that, I would have told you. But you didn't tell anyone here that you didn't know. And if you know the term offset, why wouldn't you...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Yup, a 57 trim. And an update: WOW. That 5 minute fix made a difference. I went from 12 psi, to holding 18psi. Now I have to back down the boost controller, back to 15psi, lol.

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Thanks- Approximately 12psi. The boost would hit as high as 15, then immediately back off to 12. You can see where power plateaus at about 4200, then starts a shallower climb to max hp by 4800. It's even more noticeable on the torque line at the same RPM. The theory is, that the spring inside my...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

One last thing(lol..."last thing"...) I went back to the dyno the other day, just to see if a new clutch and intercooler would help matters. Here is a best run from last year, and a best run from this year. Finally broke 300, and that's all I need from this girl. It's on the '88 to make the...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Nah. That would make the first post a nightmareish long thing, plus it would still make every post after that somewhat senseless, since there would be no pics to associate with what I was describing.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

All trim is gone from the door jambs to the bumper. Today, I do the doors and targa top. PS- Replacing all of the dead links sucks.

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Whadup! No, The 88 will likely be a weekend car/ garage queen. I was supposed to head out of town today on a trip, but the plane had an engine issue, so I was off. Here's what I did today: Don't know if they'll have a trip for me tomorrow, but the next step is to strip the doors of their...
