guys we have all been in texas for a while so you know the forecast means jack.
we wont know until the day of :biglaugh:
i predict 95deg with a chance of volcanos
im on the stock boost gauge so im not sure of the actual boost pressure but i would say i hit at least 10psi.
I still haven't washed the car in over a year so we will see if i want to get in the cold and wash it...I do want to try to help the paint before the 19th.
I hit fuel cut after i got rid of my 3000 pipe and capped my old bov. It scared me but the car felt better. SWEET! kinda.:biglaugh:
just so you know this is my first sports car and ive never had friends with fast cars, so this car is fast for me. haha
Really... thats good info.
I know on the passenger side it has been painted but that side still looks good. The driver side is about as faded as it can be and on my pillar there is clear flaky stuff coming off. I really doesn't seem to be repainted. hmmm
are you coming out the the meet on...
thanks
i may try that stuff but my problem is i dont even have much of a clear coat and in some places i dont have any.
screw it, it cant look any worse. haha
i guess i can get them when we get together on the 19th? im in no rush cuz mine is still holding.
Suprapowaz!(2) have you had time to touch your car yet?
do you think i can buff my paint even without the clear coat and make it somewhat shinny or even clean looking? what would you do?...yes i...
i used them in my rebuild and the only problem i had was shaving down one piston pin so the retainer clip would fit. Ive had them in for 700miles and they seem fine.
thanks guys!
Giving gates a call is a good idea but i do understand that the belt does get broken down with oil. The cover was off so i could make sure my belt that i reinstalled with 2k on it was fine but thats my mistake :nono:
i have power steering oil mist on my timing belt. What should i clean it with? Its going to be on the car and i plan on cleaning it while running. thanks
