So you are saying that your metal pipe does not curve around the back of your motor? If so then I think that I know why, IIRC its a Cressida pipe assembly. I wish that I still had the cressida pipe that I use to have to verfiy it, but again IIRC the cressida pipe is what you are describing.
no, well yes but its not a find ;)
I actually just took the two different EPC pages and superimposed them together.
BTW, dont go by the numbers as some have been erased and other are not in there correct spot. (I should go back and erase all of them)
also, a good picture of the back of the engine bay would be helpful for the rest of us to see if there is something odd or out of the ordinary on you car.
ok, here is how to hook it all up.
top of union on back of head to heater control valve.
side of union on back of head to heater engine pipe work
cap port in question
left (driver side) pipe port to firewall
in the event that someone has done something really funky, with it hooked up as...
It's not soppost to be a hose, just a little rubber cap. Someone has put that hose on there. Just get a cap and put it on there inplace of the hose and call it done.
I am assuming that you are not the original owner, and some one at some time must have did something funky with it or didn't know what they were doing.
Just hook everything up as shown in the illustration and dont worry about it.
There should not be any differances. Toyota only lists two different part numbers.
one for 01/86 thru 08/88 (toy. #5840114100)
one for 08/88 thru 05/93 (toy. #5840114101)
Someone at somepoint must have changed something.
on an another note. try swaping the front metal deck riser (that...
Good numbers, one problem though, SAE correction is not soppost to be used on forced induction engines and so the true numbers are a bit lower then that.
Its been slow around here, I have had a few other things come up that had to be taken care of in the past few weeks....
Anyways, just upgraded to AutoCAD 2007 and they have this neet little camera function so I figured I'd play around with it a bit. This actually the trigger wheel that I am...
It is technically OBDI. OBD0 is a quote unquote Honda thing.
OBDI didn't even become OBDI until the introduction of OBDII. Pryer to OBDII, all systems were just called OBD
OBDII is the only system that has a universial diagnostics plug. Pryer systems were manufacture specific as to how to...
As far as I know, 43.5psi. Thats the standard for all fuel injectors as far as I know. Being that I know other nipondenso's are tested / rated at that PSI, and being that they are supplied for Toyota by nipondenso, I would assume that they are tested / rated at the same 43.5psi.
Edit: 43.5psi...
Jake, here, check out this link to summit about the sumps (a couple different options).

Ok, I'll go with my usual way out in left feld ideas here,
Jake, mod and sump the tank and mount the A1000 in the tank. Then you have the cooling effect of be submerged in the fuel and no issues with running times.
Yes its a little bit of work, but the end results are worth it.
Yes, the Tan colored (split 3 ways) wire is the +12V supply for the coils, but that is only on the coil side. its black with orange tracer on the harness side.
Take a look at this link.

Actually no, the Audi's are not given any advantage. They have to meet all P1 regulations as does every other P1 car.
head porting that you talked about does not have anything to do with HP so to speek. The hole point is to Maximize Torque in the intended operating RPM range and thats all...
