Thanks Fluby. I was thinking of bypassing the switch anyway to make my own version of a kill switch. I guess this is just more incentive to do so. Also, is the Redline Shockproof Gear oil good enough? I already have 2 quarts of it sitting around because I thought I'd replace my differential...
Since my stock clutch couldn't hold a decent amount of power anymore (slipping in 4th around 60 mph) I finally installed my competition clutch stage 1....and my girlfriend helped.:icon_bigg
Let me just say this.......
DAMN!
The clutch engages...
Are you sure the motor for the headlight works?
The thing that has me is that your light doesn't even come on which leads me to believe it's all connected to the switch.
If you figure out what it is, I'd be interested to know what the culprit was.
Did you flush out the oil in the compressor? If you didn't, that may eventually wear the sytem down. Also, you do need to replace that dryer can when you get on things again. It wasn't hard and only costs $33.xx from Jeff Watson @ Champion Toyota. ;) Isn't cold air nice?!
Well, my vacuum pump arrived at my house yesterday (robinair 15300 1/3hp, 3 cfm, dual stage vacuum pump) as well as my new dryer can and o-rings from Jeff Watson @ Champion Toyota. I had the system evacuated yesterday afternoon of all excess refrigerant and then I set my new pump to work...
Think about it this way, the average person spends something like 50% of their concious life in a car (or some relatively close figure). It might as well be in something you enjoy! ;)
So, do yourself a favor and keep the car. Just tone it down a little, learn some self-control, and don't...
Just keep in mind that you are going to have to get a custom oil dipstick with that manifold. Everything looks good so far though. Keep up the amazing work!
Haha...to many people, the radiator light looks like a birdcage. So, when they see it, they may joke about how the magical bird that controls their boost level is gone. ;)
I have a good 87 rheostat ready to ship out right now. It was from a previous supra I owned and I thought I was going to need it the other day for a problem I was having, but my problem involved an exposed wire touching the starter and blowing my gauges fuse. Anyway, you have a PM.
