so i checked my compression last week, i just poped off the cord on the elec. ignition and poped my tester in the spark plug holes and cranked a few turns. well i got like 160-170 on all of em... but then another guy came by and said to bearly crank it once, and thats how your sapposed to check...

the dipstick was close to full. so i added a quart and that made it full...then i added another as most people say to do.

i added 2 quarts and its all good now.. still dosent go past the 40. but then again im pretty close to an oil change. ill prolly buy an aftermarket guage here soon just in case.

so my oil pressure has been "ok" lately but now its getting pretty scary. i dont have rod knock. my oil pressure is (on the stock gauge) in the middle of 0 and the first line. and at 3000k rpm its right under the first line, but when i let off the gas at 3k the pressure rises to the first...

the way i fixed my idle problem from staying at 1000. was i took out the EFI fuse for a few minutes and poped it back in.. its been idling at about 650-700 now. just where i like it. but its only a matter of time before it jumps back up to 1000.. just like it did the last time i pulled the fuse...

mine same thing. i also throw a tps code. dies when i go high rpm and throw it in idle.

sounds to me like your turbo seal is leaking oil into your exhaust and when you start it up its burning it out till its all gone....
