VSV: Vacuum Solenoid Valve
From what I understand, the one that hooks up to the EGR controls when the EGR is actually working.

The one that hooks up to the FPR bumps up the fuel pressure under warm starts...
I know what I'm doing when I get a dry day or two now! I knew it was under that trim piece somewhere from pouring water on various locations of the hatch and watching for it, but didn't get a chance to pull it off before weather got ugly. Right now I have that panel just sitting in my trunk as...
I used a Hella kit as well and have been quite pleased with them. Put in some PIAA bulbs at the same time and called it a day. Looks good and more importantly, light up the road in front of me quite nicely WITHOUT blinding the person I'm following.
Glad it was something simple. I'd just go over connections real quick (specifically at the battery terminals) once more to make sure they're all solid to make sure things stay happy.
Make sure that you've got a good connection on the terminals too and that the wires going in to the terminals haven't started falling out or anything like that.
That would be awesome spikes. In case it doesn't end up working out, what year Camry squirters and what years do they fit our cars? I had someone ship me a set of squirters from an '88 and they were different and wouldn't clip in. The 88's were smaller.
If you're hooking it up with the USDM computer, I'd move the EGR over rather than put the block off plates in. There's lots of threads arguing back and forth on it, but honestly, what's the downside to having it in? You'll get slightly better gas mileage, lower EGT's, and it's not even on...
205/65/16 Yokohama Ice Guards on winter rims and I haven't had a problem yet with the snow. It's the only car I have right now so I just make sure to give it a wash/rinse down every couple weeks or so to get all the junk out from the wheel wells and whatnot.
I had starter issues a while back too. If the car is completely cold and you're actually push starting it on a flat surface, yes, it can be difficult. The biggest problem is the car weighs slightly less than an aircraft carrier ;)
Yeah, he was in a fairly expensive are for rent and it just wasn't profitable to stay open there. My car was one of the last in that shop for exhaust work. From what I understand he's still going to be running his business out of another location, just don't know where.
By chance did you see if there's any moisture on any of the pulleys/belts? My thermostat housing had a very tiny leak and would do that once in a while if it got even a couple drops on the water pump pulley beneath it.
