Heating the bolt would make it more difficult to come out. Heat makes things expand and the bolt is INSIDE what you're trying to extract from. Typically you'd want to head the outside of what you're trying to get the bolt out of to make that expand a bit, and then thus easier to thread out. I...
Your link wasn't working for me, so I modified it for simplicity for other users ;)

I'd double check all your bolts mentioned already as well as the cam gear bolts. What RPM were you running that at? How warm was the engine? Does it make the same...
Piston slap is the sounds of the piston skirt slapping the side of the cylinder wall when moving up and/or down. It's caused by the cylinder walls being slightly oversized for the piston inside. It's much more noticeable on a cold engine because as the engine warms up the piston has a tendency...
Got a thread going in off topic. Just thought I'd link it to the local forum where it took place ;)

A big cause of rod knock in these cars is coolant in the oil. When a head gasket blows it can dump coolant in there and that will score the bearings up on the bottom end pretty quickly. If the bottom end isn't taken care of during a head gasket job it's not uncommon for rod knock to soon...
I did some home porting on my own head and it turned out pretty good. It was a LOT of researching though, and I had access to some decent tools to get the job done. I put about 20 hours in to it, but I'm not a professional by any stretch.
Unfortunately the link I have saved in my archives for...
Didn't know where to post it so I figured off topic was safest. Just thought I'd put some pics up from a local drift event I was at this last weekend. Mostly Nissans, but a few AE86's ripping up the track. Sorry there isn't more variety in cars, first time out with the camera in a long time...
I know, it's not a Supra, but it's part of the roots of the Supra. Was at a local drift event this weekend and saw this beauty in the parking lot...
1970's Toyota Celica (and no, I don't know who that is in the background)
If for some reason you want a higher res picture, I've got them...
That's what I was going to get at myself. If you've got no fan shroud on the car too the fan isn't going to be pulling fresh air through the radiator nicely either. Putting in electric fans is putting one more thing in the chain that can cause catastrophic failure. I'd agree with airhead, get...
To test your LSD, check my signature..... ;)
But I agree, not likely an LSD problem. I'd check your bushings and maybe make sure everything is torqued up properly in terms of subframe bolts etc.
The second thread I linked in there actually goes through a j-tube bypass (Post 14, Step 28). It's essentially a restriction pipe bolted to the side of the block to created fuel pressure in case the fuel pressure regulator were to fail. Unfortunately it's tends to create more pressure than you...
Do a quick search and you'll find TONS on the lexus afm mod ;)
What it comes down to though is the electronics are the same, just the housing is 25% larger. Pair the 25% larger meter with 25% larger injectors (440cc -> 550cc), and you get to a very close match in terms of the air/fuel...
If I remember correctly, the ECU's "happy place" is between 180 and 210. As long as you keep it between the temps, it should be fine. Idealy you'd you want to keep the temp at 195 dead.
In terms of switches, whatever you end up doing don't cheap out. One of my buddies did a very very...
