HOW TO: Charging your A/C air conditioner conditioning system at home.

Arz, a couple notes for you... R-134a (tetrafluoroethane) is quite different from R-134, which is not effective as a refrigerant. You can read the safety info on R-134a at Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R-134a As for R-12 (Dichlorodifluoromethane), it is an incredible ozone...

Information: The Definitive MKIII Supra MAFT Pro Guide

This is still required with 4.80 to get the numbers to show up for TM on the SensorMonitor. My guess is something that was in 4.60 never made it to 4.80? P.S. Feel free to delete/merge this reply as needed.

    As Requested: MaftPro Install writeup

Very clear diagram... I like it! You may want to clarify the blue wire ground point (not the source, the ground point) ... see http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42600 for more info.

How to: MAFT Pro Boost Control

I can't help myself because I don't have the boost control hooked up yet, however I'm pretty sure that if you posted all your bc settings, it would really help others to pinpoint. Here's the list: - TPS Spool: - RPM Spool: - TPS Start: - PSI Start: - DC% Start: - DC% Aux: - PSI Set: -...

    maft pro problems

You can wire the green wire from the lc-1 with the purple (maftpro) and the white (lc-1). I did wire my blue wire to the big pipe behind the dash and it has been running fine since then.

    maft pro problems

You need to keep the blue wire separate from green and white. They should not go to the same ground point. Look for the bit that talks about "analog ground noise" in the LC-1 manual. On that note, I'm looking for a good ground spot for the blue wire myself right now. I was thinking about E2 on...

    Timeslips, post em up!

If I took that literally, I may just try starting off in third! :icon_bigg I think there are a number of things going on here. We want to maximize the power under the curve, while at the same time minimizing the amount of time between shifts (and the number of shifts), where there is no power...

    Timeslips, post em up!

Everything I have read points to using a lower-geared ratio like the 4.30 as opposed to the 3.73 I have at the moment. I am redlining 3rd at the end of the track at ~100mph, and I wish I could get some use out of fourth gear! Damien, I'll swap diffs with you if you like and we can see what...

    New Wheels! - Kosei K3

Yeah I agree about the difference a 255/40 would make for looks, but it gets trickier when I consider all the factors. I have less than 5mm clearance on the inside of the fender so if I went with a taller tire, I'd have to roll the fenders or really tighten up the pre-load on the Teins...

    New Wheels! - Kosei K3

Hehe, yeah it took me at least a year to decide on the rims I wanted, only to find out that they didn't make them in the size I wanted. On to the next set... they used to make them in the right size but they discontinued two months before, etc, etc. But I knew the style I wanted so when I was...

Ok, an update. I've lowered her about two centimeters, and that's as low as she's going to go. Hope you like the new look. :icon_bigg Some Handy Yokes at the end! :icon_wink
