you want those cleaned out.. or you will get blowby which is not good. it needs to vent. just spray a few cans of carb cleaner in there.

yup. dash comes out with about 6 screws. cable comes right out the back of the firewall. and unscrew from the tranny. speedo out!

hmmm maybe look everything over again on wires? seems you got everything covered that contributes to spark...

replacing the speedo cable has got to be the easiest thing to do on the supra...hell its easier then changing a flat tire...took me 10 minutes at the most to do in my driveway
