    dazed and confused

I've seen those numbers as well, and they're a fluke. 86 and 88 would run the same times, not to mention the times were gathered from reviews during that period. Tires have come a loooooooooong way since then for starters. Either the car was a poor example or it was driver error (or both).

    Car cant be alligned

WTF IS THAT CRAP!?!?! Considering that bolt doesn't even use the eccentric anymore and looks extremely questionable I'm surprised the shop even touched it. Put that crap back to stock.

    Import>Rebuild?

Rebuild > JDM Motor of questionable milage, age, and condition compared to a motor with 0 miles on it... JDM motors are great if you're going to buy it for a core to rebuild (especially in the case that your core is screwed, like a thrown rod).

    Car cant be alligned

A little, but not terribly soft. If they look like they're mooshing out the sides then they're probably toast (oil and other leaks get to the rubber).

    H&R springs sagging?

It's physically impossible unless the car is lowered so much it's sitting on the bumpstops.

    Piece of garbage ps3(keeps breaking)

Might also want to look into Sony repair places ;) Used to be a flat rate of $50 + parts to repair any Sony product.

    H&R springs sagging?

Because the car hasn't re-settled. The bumpstop doesn't contact the spring or the moving part of the shock (unless you bottom out) and will have no effect. If it's split like that, it's probably taken a beating, how good is the shock?

    Piece of garbage ps3(keeps breaking)

Pong? Nah, they rolled a wheel down the street with a stick. Why, so he can get RROD?

    Crossed Jumper cables. How bad?

The big fuse can be bought at a parts store, hopefully it's fine. You're lucky the battery didn't explode in your face though...

    H&R springs sagging?

Bump stop will have zero effect on ride height... Unless you pressed them all the way down against the shock body where friction could potentially hold the shock up. Contrary to popular belief, blown shocks do effect right height though.

    alignment issues

$70 is way low for a 4 wheel alignment on a fully adjustable car. Try double that for a good shop. Though in your case it sounds like you have some stuff that's worn out badly.

Mechanical or electric oil pressure gauge?

Unreliable would be an incorrect term, the only bad thing to the stock gauge is that it's SLOW. It's reliable as it always works unless the wiring is botched, and it's actually quite accurate for being 20 years old (and easily tested and fixed) Mechanicals aren't any more accurate than...

    charcoal canister

Sorta yes and sorta no. It keeps 2psi in the tank and will safely vent the rest (the charcoal scrubs the air of gasoline vapors before it's vented out the bottom and stores it). The gas cap is supposed to allow air in but not out. If it's faulty it will starve the car of fuel (worst case, the...

Filling gearbox oil without driveshaft on?

I made one with the yoke from an old driveshaft. Make dropping the tranny a clean job.
