- The power steering res. gravity feeds the pump, doesn't matter where it is for the most part as long as it can do that.
- Look at the evolution of the M engine designs. The central throttle body was done for a reason (same reason it's done on the 2JZ-GE)

"Don't have any problems" is a terrible excuse. If you'ves seen the systems they use to tune each cylinder (usually EGT sensor and I've seent ehm run widebands on each one) to get everything running correctly.
The point is they would NOT be running at a constant temp, why you think you know...
If that hose splits at the fitting it will fill the spark plug wells. Even if those plugs are tight they can still leak (especially if your head was "straightened" by a machine shop as I've found out).
Or, you can pull the 2 large bolts that hold the entire bumper assembly to the front frame. There are other little ones to disconnect too, just gotta hunt around once it's loose.
It's a pretty big job as you have to remove the undercovers and stuff and remember where everything goes...
