well if you think about it, the turbo is going to heat up the air X amount of degrees, the intercooler will cool it X amount of degrees, in the end you will still end up with hotter air if you bring in hotter air.

Everything is 100% stock including the BPV. I have tested it an it works. Also the ISC is basically brand new the whole thing was disassembled cleaned, and resealed thoroughly during the rebuild. I will check out the dashpot.

are you sure your VALVE timing is correct? Might have jumped a tooth. turn the crank to #1tdc compression and make sure the cam gear marks are strait up.

Well i finally got everything squared away. I found that the machinist had gotten some small chips from the head resurface stuck down in between a couple valves and their seat. Took the head apart, cleaned it all out, lapped the valves all again, replaced the seals again and pput it all back...

Check out FRSPORT.com they have some different thicknesses i couldnt find anywhere else. It seems the person making the post about the Cometic gaskets being crappy has little to no backing so i dont think you should believe that, there are supposedly many people using them with no problems.

I doubt you would be able to see a difference in the plastigauge between a size 2 and a size 3, theres only .0004" difference between the smallest possible "2" and the largest possible "3". according to the tsrm you can have a "2" and a "3" that are the exact same size ( to the .0000 place)

I have a set of Stone valve seals i just put in, but they felt a bit harder than my black felpro seals i have used before, is this normal? Is it safe to run these?
