That damage is not much, i would take some fine emery cloth and just remove any burrs if there are any. Not to mention its the cap that takes all the load anyways, so the bottom half is less to worry about.
Took a look at my head last night, but wasnt able to snap any pics. The top left most stud does in fact thread into a hole that goes all the way through into the crankcase. There is a bolt at the very front of the intake runners, in the middle, then the first hole above the number 1/2 intake...
Actually, believe it or not there is an intake manifold stud or two, i cannot remember which ones, that go through into the camshaft area of the head. If they are loose or dont have sealer on them, they could possibly leak oil. I will look at my head tonight and take pics if it seems like a...
They used to be a vendor on here and they got so many complaints that they were removed from the vendors list... I had a bad experience myself it is absolutely ridiculous the things this so called business does. I bet i 5 year old could run it better.

yes, everything was done 100% to specs. I even followed ARP's multi torque process in sequence. This whole build was done 100% the right way which makes it hurt more when something like this happens.
well ig ot the timing belt on today and got nothing but bad news. Cylinders 2, 4, and 6 have a lot of compression leaking and i can hear it coming right out the exhaust for all three. I dont even know what to do from here, looks like the head is coming off again....
The head was rebuilt 2 years...
