Make sure they're the full calipers with the bracket, or at least with the slide replacement.

Looks more like a mid-engine layout design. Also, the roof line of the bottom one looks goofy, think that's why it looks weird compared to the top one.

I don't hate the Prius at all, it functions very well for what it is. My previous job we used them as delivery vehicles, driving them for at least 8 hours a day, so they saved the company a hell of a lot of money. For the average person that doesn't drive that much it's a pretty stupid car IMHO...

Koyo is the cheapest so far as I've seen. IIRC ARC makes one....but it's over a grand.
