noone told me taking the 2jz harness off was this easy :) the clutch i bought is also in the picture and im trying to hide it under my car with no success. not very proud of it lol

i would suggest what you did too its way more cost effective hehe, i would even think if money wasnt an issue i would still go with a built powerglide or th400 over the clutchless system.. but of course thats just me :)

the a340e from the 7m is the best way to go along with a suprastick. (you just have to wire the 2j to think its in neutral and use a throttle cable from transmission in place of where the cruise control hooks up to the throttle body) assuming...

suprastick wont work with 2jz transmissions only 7m and 1jz unless you are wanting to use a 7m/1jz transmission on a 2jz? (you would have to wire the 2jz's ecu to think its in neutral all of the time)
check out my thread, although im using an r154. you wont need many of the things listed because your car might be manual already and you have the mkivs oil pan.
rear end gears ? = differential? plenty of people out there that can make different differentials. cusco. kaaz. can use a torsen...

and yes it would be cheaper to just have a shop wire it up.
it would be even cheaper to have someone make a harness for you OR get a 1jz harness and use that. (i opted for someone to make a harness for me)
