garden liner i believe is a plastic (abs?) that you use to contain a garden, commonly a garden near a walkway or lawn that would spill over. you put it in around a bunch of fresh dirt...or any garden for that matter... and it makes a clean looking border to hold your dirt where you put it...

why should there be? more room would either sacrafice ground clearance or trunk room anyway.

well think of it this way, you're removing weight from the left and moving it to the center, therefore increasing the ratio between the weight on the left and right sides. I dont know the stock weight distributions, much less the left-right ratio... i would think an engineer would take...

I agree on that firebird and the corvette as well. There is a local corvette that i've been looking at and its body lines remind me a lot of the mk3 supra. the front doesnt, neither to the taillights, but the general shape and angles of the car save for the steeper slant of the vette in the...

you could use a crapload of super sticky double-sided tape, and i mean a lot. I cant take responsibility for it if something goes wrong but you could at least consider taping it down to a freshly washed surface with some sord of permanent adhesion. I still wouldnt reccomend doing so without...

since we're talking about the front end... what about the whole front bumper? not the frame inside, but just the front plastic parts that got changed. i'm assuming that you could just unbolt the plastic front bumper and replace with a newer year with the new styling and split front grille...

yeah by what you guys are telling me i dont think i'm going to do it. and the starter thing is a good (albeit risky) idea. I like the tranny thing...i was trying to move the crank to get to TDC and couldn't...then my dad said; "Is the tranny in gear?" yeah...i felt kinda silly. jazz- what...

yes i see the assembly of it all. thanks IJ, and jazzsaxman, i've looked and based on what i see and confirmed by IJ i dont think the belt can be removed or replaced without removing said parts :( if there is a good tool i could find to hold the main pully or "dampener" i will do a timing...

dampener? i'm guessing that's the little plate that's behind the bolt on the main pulley? I wasn't even thinking of how to pull it off, i was thinking of the SST that allows you to hold the pully/shaft steady while you proceed to unbolt the thing...without it the driveshaft will just spin...

do you just have an itch to hear it run or what?
