ah, thank you. It's nice that i can do it myself. Theres a lot of surface rust to clean first though. i think today is my cleaning day, go through and clean everything.

well if you use cove base and it matches your car without painting i think that it would just bend and spring back when you scrape...no problems. I hope they have black...hehe

OK this is a bit of an old thread but I can update the keyhole bit. I have a 1986.5 N/A WITH a lighted drivers side keyhole and it makes me hold up the doorhandle when i shut it while locked so it is a 1986.5 door and not a replacement from another car. i believe vin's match too soo...yeah...

:p i think i might end up using toyota head bolts if they are cheaper, because I'm not going for heavy duty stuff and bolts are bolts. ARPs would probably last through more teardowns but i wont be doing any. I need to do some more research and see what people usually use, maybe a poll if i can.
