it does, thanks. i'm going to do some price checking but i was hoping to take the head in for a checkup and needed repairs, but only if i can purchase a head gasket kit because i'll probably get a valve job and the set has seals - it will save me some money and they wont go to waiste.
i hope...
no problem. thanks!!
I have been looking around and i was wondering if anyone can tell me who makes the gaskets for toyota...i figured that SOME company has to make gaskets for them and i've seen some auto parts sites sticking the little "OEM" next to this one brand: Ishino
I was...
lol, ok.
i guess the idea with the stick isnt that bad... now that i think about it you'd have to be pretty clumsy to get hurt probably...or have a horribly running engine.
arcs? maybe you have too much draw and its actually trying to burn up? The link that is. do you have the same kind of link in there now that i have? or a fuse. maybe the tsrm will say this stuff.
think this way... you blow 400 on a few good times or save it and spend only 1600 on the turbo stuff :D
OR you could buy some bitchin' seat covers.
OR think this way... if something could break, you're paying 400 dollars to break it, and then that will cost money to fix, AND you'll be...
OK, i went right out and looked at my supra, it's also a 1986.5 but mine is basically stock sooo i know nothing of what you changed in yours to add the turbo BUT i would assume the fuses are the same.
sadly i have a problem with that VERY SAME fuse! it's more of a question though really...
glowing hot? a cable on the alternator got hot enough to glow? as in red??
do you mean the big fuse box in the engine bay? I'll go take a look on my supe and see what it has in it.

just a guess :D
whenever i get a page that doesnt have a link to home i just delete parts of the URL until i reach a root/mainpage. i'm not sure if you can purchase from that page but it seems like a list of products. i dont have time to look.
except the fact that it's got a 90 degree bend in the middle and is half as short that way.
i think it might be nice for the rear spoiler though... i'm kinda interested in trying that...
well i believe lighter oil will make them louder... since you are using 5x instead of 10w... you might hear more noise. my guess is the thinner oil will make it eaiser for the parts to slap together or make the process louder...
if you can, try and listen for where its coming from. there...
I need to know which passages are for oil...i wasnt sure and i'm still not. some smaller triangle shaped ones were clogged as i think i posted a picture of... and i have a feeling that was the sometimes-apparent thumping on startup...my oil pump trying to bypass the clogs in the headgasket...
canadian - did you change oils? i've heard a different oil can make the valve-tick noise appear and in other cases go away, generally with thicker oils the noise is muffled/eliminated.
jazz- were talking to me? i never actually did that...lol. but i can just imagine the engine jerking and...
baaad idea with the stick. good principal and will work but if you miss or slip while its by your temple and something smacks it up toward your head...you could end up dead. (no rhyme intended) if anything use some tubing or a stethiscope. if your engine backfires or lurches you could get...
Thanks guys. i'll probably end up trying the MCCC idea because my dad might not like the idea of a big towel of gas lying around. even if everything i'm using is flammable. and i also dont want the smell of gass around... when i removed the fuel rail it was bad enough. i had two fans going...
