I was looking around for pistons, as I might need to bore on my rebuild, and saw that kit the other day. I literally said to myself "hm, I wonder if anyone on Supramania has input to these"
The Generic branding and ebay name turned me off, but you never know. I'd rather go with somethings...
So he can internet shit-talk too? Why don't you guys just go out there and show up wherever he hangs out. He'll either back out, or race and lose. You guys win, right? If talk is cheap, internet argueing is just sad.
Noxide? He left the forums from too many people bashing him.
But swapping in a Small block V8 is quite different from bondoing in mustang taillights. And hardly "redneck" IMO.
Personally I'd pick a car with a crappy engine to start to put a V8 into, Why pull out a 7M or JZ when they're...
Just the basics: of course replace all rod and main bearings, get the deck surface's machined and go with a metal head gasket and ARP's.
Get a gasket set and replace every gasket when putting the engine back together.
Yes you can get the engine and tranny for 300. But that is definetly not Everything you would need for the swap.
You'll find things get pretty expensive when building/swapping an engine. especially into a body that engine never came in.
You can't.
I looked for that exact muffler for awhile. But Magnaflow only makes the "street" series mufflers with 2.25 inlet max.
I ended up having to go with a single tip "Race" series which they make in 3" straight through.
