pre-89 TEMS cames standard on turbo models, later models had standard ABS. Not to mention people remove it or swap engines all the times in these cars...

Yes on buying it for parts if the interior is really that clean and you want it. Absolutely NO to trying to make it run again unless you have the skills and knowledge to do all the work yourself. You're looking at thousands and thousands of dollars to have that repaired ($5K+ at least)
