89 supra runs good when cold but like crap when hot.

Care to explain why? Only way this is possible is if the computer would fail-safe to hot, which doesn't make any sense to me.

    7m-gte no spark or do not hear fuel pump prime - - - - - - READ!!!

The only purpose of the relay on the strut tower is to switch between 12v or 9v to the fuel pump. Which pins did you jump that allowed the pump to run? No matter the position of the relay, the pump should run.

    7m-gte no spark or do not hear fuel pump prime - - - - - - READ!!!

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=46 That should get you started. Check your fuses and make sure that none of them are open. You know that you have a problem either getting power or ground directly to your fuel pump, so work your way back. There is a cover to...

    Bypassing heater control valve

You can also just put the vacuum line strait to the port on top of the valve (bypassing the electrical vacuum valve) so anytime there is vacuum the valve is held open.

    Heater core feedback please

OEM is going to be your best bet, but it will be expensive. The quality of OEM will likely exceed any of the aftermarkets. I have also read that the aftermarkets have a lower fin count reducing their efficiency, meaning less heat output. Someone with experience with that will have to chime in...

    Cracked Turbo

My rebuilt 57 trim has the same crack that you show in the first picture. I'm sure if Aaron lets it through, its not a big deal.

My *sort of* build thread. (PIC WHORE)

Ya still getting used to the MAFT pro myself, working out pretty well so far though! The line looks pretty tight but it isn't in actuality. It actually ended up a little longer than i wanted, but that's ok. The stainless line is fairly stiff so its not easy to leave much slack. Thanks! Which...

    My rebuild :D

If you didn't get the block decked, you don't need to fix that issue. You said there was no step, so in that case the timing cover is already flat with the block. You should have gotten the block decked, though, if you are using an MLS type head gasket. You will be fine though if you are using a...

    7MGE and TMGTE fan blade?

True it is just a guess that its original, but it is an Aisin and looks like the body of the clutch itself matches the NA clutch in the other pic. Just curious if certain years used different colors/why my clutch is green. Also, look at the beveled edge (end of the fins) in OP's pic: . Now look...

    7MGE and TMGTE fan blade?

That's very odd, this is the clutch off of my 86.5 NA, which appeared to be original when removed. Appears to have a green hub.

    Are my pistons fu--ed?

Do you have insert sleeves in your block? Interesting, never seen it done on a 7m before. Edit nvm looks like its o ringed.

    7MGE and TMGTE fan blade?

I believe you are supposed to switch to the GTE clutch if you switch fan blades. Though I'm fairly certain either will bolt on fine, the NA clutch is not robust enough to properly drive the GTE fan which has more resistance to turning. If you are trying to improve your cooling you should swap to...

    My rebuild :D

Unofrtunately this info isn't in the TSRM, as technically Toyota does not want you to refinish the block deck, and says to replace the block instead. You cannot file it if you want to fix it properly, the head gasket seals on the block deck and on the timing cover, so it must be basically...

    My rebuild :D

Unfortunately:( Feel the block surface where it meets the cover, do you feel a step? If there is, your head is being held off of the block by that much, reducing clamping on the gasket where it matters. You are supposed to have it bolted to the block when it gets machined, but if you have...

    BOV Placement, GO!

When I tried venting to atmosphere, I would backfire (technically after fire according to Toyota I guess) between shifts, it got annoying fast. I'm not sure why you wanted to put it farther away exactly, is it supposed to be louder if you do that? Just seems like a worse spot to put it in every...
