Haha glad you figured out what is wrong. Definitely go easy on it until you get some things dialed in. You have to be careful, you can easily destroy your engine if you aren't. Because of the larger injectors, you have to pull the main scale back approx 20-25% which will raise the point that you...
if your dash has yellow plugs, you need a harness with yellow plugs (pre 89), if the dash has grey plugs, you need a harness with grey plugs(post 89), and you need the correct ecu to match (yellow or grey), that way everything is completely plug and play
Don't quote me on this but research has told me that anything more than .010" cut on the 6m/7m crank will go past the heat treating on the journals and sacrifice strength of the journal. There's no reason to weld a 6m/7m crank for the reason that simply getting another good crank is not...
A lot of aftermeket plug wires are known for not clicking into place properly, which ones do you have? Also you need to make sure you have JIS height plugs and not ISO which are a little bit shorter.
Glad you were able to get that gauge done!
Skip the FCD and make sure your fuel system is 100%. Getting injectors flow tested would not be a bad idea at all. Once you know your engine is 100% up to the task, you can increase the boost pressure slightly (usually somewhere around 11-12 psi) until it starts to hit fuel cut, then back it...
best is to block off the oil passages with something like a cotton ball, earplug, etc. Get creative, just make sure that you can retrieve it afterward and that it doesn't fall in there! Be very careful about getting debris in the oil passages (there's only a few) and try to avoid getting it in...
Well when they line bore it they remove material in order to make it round and original size again, essentially moving the crankshaft up into the block. Considering you have a 100% stock bottom end as far as crank and rods are concerned and you are still hitting, something has changed. I would...
:wtf:Was the block line bored? Its possible the crank moved upwards into the block enough from a line bore to set all the rods closer to the block? Just a shot in the dark
Cleaned up my Supra and thought id throw some pics up. Just got the bumpers repainted but unfortunately they didn't do the best job matching the color  ... Hopefully that will be fixed soon. The video quality is pretty bad but it gives you an idea.. It was running about 13-14 psi and needs...
I have a MaftPro, you can basically do the same thing with it as you can with an SAFC plus a lot more. There are a bunch of features but be warned the support is rather terrible. Most of the features are not well explained in the manuals and you have to learn a lot of it on your own. The MaftPro...
