The difference in air temp would be extremely minimal if even measurable, especially considering that you are running a boosted engine. There are other things that are going to make so much more of a difference in air temp than the throttle body coolant warming the throttle body will. I'm not...
Unfortunately it looks like those pistons you have in there are already 1mm oversize- the max the 7m should really be taken. If it needs anything more than a hone, its a boat anchor.
You are not going to have any power gains from bypassing the throttle body/isc coolant lines; however, it will make taking the throttle body/isc off a lot less painful.
The MAFT has a great feature called ETPS (Enhanced TPS) that allows you to set parameters to drive the stock ECU into open loop during part throttle boost. You have to do some rewiring but it is very simple and totally worthwhile. Basically you feed the MAFT the TPS signal from the TPS itself...
Haha that's not a bad idea, but unfortunately my goped is direct drive so if the motor aint spinning neither is the rear wheel haha. I wouldn't mind getting pulled over and given a warning but I read somewhere that you can be ticketed around $300 if you are riding illegally. Not to mention if...
So here is my dilemma.... I have to give up my poopra for paint for a few days, and unfortunately it is my only mode of transportation (I am not old enough to rent a vehicle). I have both work and school every day, but luckily they are within about 10 miles from home. I have a goped...
I haven't looked at your log/tune yet but to answer your question, if your wideband can emulate a narrowband, then you can use that signal to feed the ecu. The analog output is different than an emulation, so you need to look up whether or not you can do that with your wideband. You can buy...
I did all my part throttle tuning with the o2 plugged in. Part throttle tuning and full throttle tuning are two different ball games. For part throttle, the goal is to get vf to read 2-3v under almost all load and speed conditions (minus full throttle). The only reason you would be fighting the...
vf isn't actually going to mean anything if the o2 is disconnected, because it functions based on the o2 feedback. It has no way of knowing how the engine is running a/f ratio wise without the o2 feedback. Even if the o2 was connected, you should disregard vf readings until the engine is fully...
I had zero luck with the tracking function, it was way too slow IMO and not very solid. Get your tune dialed in with the user tunes first, VE table is only for fine tuning later. The load values set in the menu determine when the low/mid/high user tunes kick in. Generally speaking, anything with...
You have to realize too that because it is a waste spark, every time you pull one wire off you are killing that cylinder as well as its companion. If you ground the plug out like JJ mentioned then you will only be killing the one cylinder that you are trying to test.
Another vote for black! Looks pretty good i like...
Would be cool if you could get the gauges to aim strait at the driver instead of upwards but either way looks nice!
With stock 440's the only way to raise your fuel cut is by leaning it out, and there's only so much leaning out you can do to the stock tune (but you can do some considering the stock tune is very rich). Just be careful. I recommend running 5.22, it is what i am running and i think it is the...
