Why do you think methanol injection will yield more power per PSI of boost? The oversimplified version is - it's not going to change much at all. Knock threshold may change thus allowing for more boost, but that's a different matter entirely.
I think a JT62 might fit the bill for you. Bolts on the stock manifold and spools pretty damn fast for a turbo that fast-about the same as a SP61GT bolt on kit but with more top end power and more reliability due to the newer design. At 15 psi it should hit 400 at the wheels easy and the fuel you have will support it.
Want more power? Go to your speed shop and get some unleaded race gas. Add about 7 psi or so and near 500 can be yours.
master power t70 with a .69 backhousing, all of your hp issue will be solved, PPl on this forums and making 490-510 with the T70 and that .69a/r backhousing at 20lbs of boost, pump gas.
